New Stuff/Fun Stuff

It's Summertime and the weather is fine...  Like our fellow TAG'ers, life gets busy this time of year for us, too!  Through June, July, and August we'll be operating on the "communication lite" side but will still do our best to keep you up on great happenings and transportation news in the QC's and elsewhere!

Here's a "new" & "fun stuff" candidate:

A Stroller Trike?

If you missed the Figge's "John Bloom by Bike" tour, there will be two more opportunities!  Also, the map is on the Figge Website for self-guided tours all summer long, so choose a day and enjoy a beautiful ride along the river discovering John Bloom's art.   http://figgeart.org/Figge-Art-Museum-(1)/May2009/Bicycle-Tour.aspx

You can also put on your walking shoes and learn about Davenport history and architecture. Download details:  http://figgeart.org/Visit/Calender/Walking-Tour.aspx

From the "Did you know" file:

  • Saturdays are GREEN in Davenport!  Citibus charges no fare on Saturdays, so get out there and take advantage of free rides!
  • All QC buses have bike racks. Put your bike on a bus and expand your options.

Never used the bus bike racks?  Check out TARC's Bike Rack Rap  -- Very fun stuff!
